A quick walk from Carolina Beach, Britt's Donuts is a staple donut shop on the beachfront. We loved how simple, delicious, and cheap their donuts were! We snacked on 3 or 4 on the beach. They're reliable and a nice bite for the price -- a great bang-for-your-buck item around Wilmington. Not the best donuts we've ever had, but definitely still worth giving them a try!

Very yummy donuts. We got a 1/2 dozen for $7.00. It is Cash only so be prepared! They came out warm and service was quick. Based on other reviews we got there early and there was no line.

The venue is surrounded by a theme park, restaurants, coffee shops, and a gorgeous beach. The staff was helpful and quick. The queue can be lengthy at times, but they are efficient and have a quick turnaround. They serve light, fluffy, homemade donuts served warm and made to order. They also sell coffee, milk, and sodas. They are cash only!

Cash only and 100% worth it!!! They do one type of donut. They are light, fluffy, and a must try spot in Carolina Beach. Line can be long at times, but they're quick and efficient.

Every time I make it to the beach we stop by. This time we stayed in Carolina Beach and I was able to take my children. They love it!! A family tradition now! Even my youngest child likes it and she is a picky eater. Service was fast and friendly. The place is nice and quaint. Right near the carnival area. And the doughnuts are amazing!!! Amazing!! So tasty, so fresh!! They are always made to order. My fav place!! Go!! They only take cash so be warned

Everyone said Britt's was a must-try in Carolina Beach and they were correct. We went at a good time so there was no long line. The woman at the counter was really nice and took my order. I got two donuts and water. The donuts were perfection. They were hot, perfectly sweet, and melted in your mouth. Even the donut haters in my family loved them. Just remember to bring cash and weekday mornings are a less busy time.

Likely the best donut I've ever tasted! The old school shop is cash only and they serve hot and fresh sourdough glazed donuts (the way God intended). No frills or gimmicks here. If you plan on having these for breakfast I recommend coming at 8:00 to get in line. By 8:30 on a summer Tuesday there were probably 50-60 people in line! I got there at 8:10 and was about 15th in line and it took about 10 minutes to get my donuts after they opened, not too bad at all. These donuts may just be life changing. Eat these with caution because every other donut you have will be a letdown after consuming these. Definitely eat them while still hot, but they're still pretty good later in the day. Whatever you think you'll eat, double your order and thank me later.

Wow! By far the best glazed donut I have had in a while! It was so delicious, not too sweet, light, and flakey. Make sure you get a couple. The service was great! They only accept cash.

Britt's donuts is the classic donut, just a plain, simple, sugar glazed, deep-fried doughnut. That's what makes it so great. If you can't appreciate the simple things in life, then something is wrong with you. Now, if only they could have consistency for every one of my visits. They taste the best when they're freshly deep-fried. You can tell the difference when it's been sitting out for a bit after being cooked. It just doesn't taste as good and doesn't melt in your mouth. Regardless, it is a cheap donut and it satisfies my sugar glazed donut craving. I can never just eat only one at a time, so I usually get at least half a dozen. Depending on the time and day how busy it gets will fluctuate. It's always very busy on opening weekend. But on a Friday early evening in the first week of June, there were barely any people and no wait. Still cash only. The prices have increased slightly over the years but still cheap. Taxes are included so it's a flat fee of what's listed on their board. Right now it is $13 for a dozen, $7 for half a dozen, and $1.25 for a single donut.

Believe the hype. These are the best glazed donuts I have ever tasted in my life. We got there a little after 9:00am on Saturday, and the line was very long. I would recommend trying to get there before they open or going later in the day. But even though we waited a while it was completely worth the wait!
